Dr Philip McCrea

Philip is an expert in occupational health and has 28 years' experience of working full-time in occupational health. Philip has been a consultant in occupational medicine to over 1,000 corporate clients and has extensive experience in the management of mental health issues in the workplace, specifically stress-related illness. Philip has acted as an expert on stress in 168 industrial tribunals and court appearances, more than any other occupational health practitioner in the UK.
Partner, Irwin Mitchell
Alan is a Partner in the Irwin Mitchell Employment team, based in Manchester. With nearly 20 years' experience in the employment sector, he is renowned among clients for his dedicated approach and attention to detail. He mainly advises employers, and his clients range from SMEs to larger companies with thousands of employees.
Alan advises employers on how best to streamline management of staff and resources, in order to reduce the time spent on areas adding little value to the business. He also assists directors and other senior executives in drawing up contracts with their employing company, or negotiating an exit deal if they are looking to move elsewhere.
