BHSF Occupational Health provides a range of remote services which complement our on-site and off-site clinics.
Every management referral received by BHSF Occupational Health undergoes a triage process to assess the most suitable appointment type for the client. This may be a telephone consultation with an OHA or face-to-face consultation with an OHA or OHP. A telephone consultation may be appropriate where the reason for absence does not require a physical examination or a follow-up appointment is required.
Medical questionnaire screening
You may choose to offer new-starter questionnaires to all employees, or be looking for a screening service for those working shifts or doing safety critical job roles such as crane operators.
BHSF Occupational Health can provide your employees with paper-based or online medical questionnaires to assess their fitness to undertake a specific role. These completed medical questionnaires are promptly reviewed by our clinicians, who will follow up with telephone or face-to-face consultations, if further assessment is required.
Fit outcomes with any recommendations for reasonable adjustments are subsequently provided to the employer.
Specially developed to support managers on a range of occupational health issues, our OH Direct service provides telephone support for those queries where you just need some expert advice and guidance.
This includes advice from experienced occupational health practitioners about what actions to take in different circumstances regarding employee attendance, fitness to work and an employee's ability to perform their role. The service is based upon a 'what should I do now/next' model.
OH Direct can also support the referral process, explaining the process in detail and helping managers to get the best out of it.
